Those who attended Learning Bytes Festival already got a taste. A new imec.icon call will be launched in the fall. Imec.icon projects are applied research projects in which companies and researchers work together to realize innovative ideas.

On September 20th, we organize a matchmaking event for projects about educational & learning technologies. The goal is to gather researchers and companies in order to generate or further develop ideas for new projects.

So if you want to know how to start an imec.icon project, if you have a good idea that you want to see developed within a few years, if you have a research project in mind but do not know how to start, if you want to present your research group or company in order to collaborate, you are more than welcome!

Programme:
  • 16h: welcome
  • 16.15h: information on the new imec.icon call - Steven Van Assche, imec.icon Program Manager
  • 16.35h: pitches of researchers, companies, consortia on research ideas
  • 18h: short break
  • 18h15: network drink & matchmaking and networking on possible collaborations
