<edtech/station> is the Belgian Edtech hub for technology providers in the field of learning solutions. Being a spider in the web, it connects Edtech companies with several relevant stakeholders, such as (potential) clients and end users, the educational and academic world, industry and public authorities.
Our most recent Edtech barometer illustrates that we have 408 educational technology initiatives (and counting!) on our radar. Among these initiatives, 373 have a commercial character, more particularly 356 Edtech companies, 7 hardware companies and 10 big tech companies. At least 35 (non-exhaustive number!) are projects.
Almost two thirds (205 companies) of the 356 Belgian Edtech companies mentioned above are in the start-up phase. 85 companies found a clear product-market fit and are scaling up. Lastly, 58 Edtech corporates – almost a sixth part of the Edtech ecosystem have already reached the big corporate status.
The total turnover of the Edtech sector based on the results of 65% of the (only Edtech) companies who shared their figures. Almost 70 percent of these companies have up to 1 million euros of turnover.
